Architecture City Nature

The MIT Senseable City Lab presents the project Treepedia, a study platform which measures the amounts of green in several cities around the world, more specifically the green canopy cover. “Rather than count the individual number of trees, we’ve developed a scaleable and universally applicable method by analyzing the amount of green perceived while walking down the street” MIT team explains. It is a street-level study, and it gives you the possibility to analyze and compare several data from cities like Amsterdam, Boston, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Singapore, Tel Aviv and many more.
