Los Angeles-based designer Dan Golden, gave birth to The Gummy Bear Book, a photographic collection of gummy bears featuring forty-eight gummy scenarios, captured “in their natural habitat”. It seems like gummies are getting away from their candy scope for ‘higher’ purposes – not to mention the Gummy Bear Pyramid designed by Dicapria at the Burning Man 2017, in Nevada. Back to the book, the designer explains that the idea started one day in his studio “when a bunch of gummy bears got melted together on the windowsill – it looked like a gummy bear orgy, so I set up a mini white seamless and took a photo. This got me thinking of all sorts of minimal scenarios, and the book was born.”
