Charles Young began his Paperholm project in August 2014, and his paper city is still growing. As a daily project he creates little buildings that slowly grow into a dreamy urbanscape. Most of his creations are accompanied by short animated gifs that illustrate their function: each new piece is designed, built, photographed and uploaded online day by day, and then placed somewhere in his ephemeral metropolis. The material used are 200gsm watercolour paper and PVA glue, ideal for quick construction. Don’t miss the gallery with his January creations.
