Just four days to go to the 89th Academy Awards (aka Oscars 2017): for the occasion, architect and movie watcher Boryana Ilieva pays an illustrated tribute with five aquarelle drawings of houses featured in movies that will run for the much desired prize. Boryana studied the floor plans with drawings and axonometries of buildings that hosted heroins such as Isabelle Huppert, Annette Bening, Ema Stone, Viola Davis and Sandra Hüller – all of them Oscar nominees. We can see Mia’s apartment in La La Land, the home in Fences, Michele’s house in Elle, Dorothea’s house in 20th Century Women and Ines’ apartment in Romani in Toni Erdmann.
