Flickering Lights is a 10 meters suspended installation set up during the Berlin Fashion Week. Designed by Berlin-based studio Quintessenz, the 3,000 square meters of dyed fabric was colored using about 800 liters of paint. With a total weight of one tone, the 34 color shades change according to the light conditions, absorbing and reflecting them. The eye can no longer differentiate, and the experience is ever-changing. Quintessenz plays with illusion through different graphic elements that are carrying the color and creating complex compositions.
