If you happen to be in Canada, try out one of the new themed restaurants in Montréal, Toronto or Vancouver. Once passed the entrance door you will be teleported into exotic places far from Northern America. Be it nostalgia for warmer spots and good food, the result is quite impressive for it’s accuracy in proposing contemporary environments from elsewhere. Translated, there’s a good chance to grasp some authenticity from Hawaii, Southern Italy, Central Mexico, Vietnam or Japan. Studio Rainville-Sangaré, for instance, conceived a contemporary Asian spot in Montréal, while studio +tongtong brought to life a real Mexican torteria in Toronto. Burdifilek studio signed the interiors for a “pizza carbone” Masseria in Vancouver, and DesignAgency brought a sophisticated Argentinian vibe in Toronto’s Leña restaurant.
