What happens when an architect starts making jewelry? Find out with the architectural ring collection by Brooklyn-based architect and designer Artur Dabrowski. His series starts with three important elements for the discipline: stairs, bricks and arches. Dabrowski recreates tiny scenarios in rings made from high resolution 3d printed wax and lost wax casting, that are then hand polished to a smooth finish. Rings are available in silver, brass and bronze. The ring is made using parametric computer algorithms, which allows the design to adapt across all ring sizes with every step staying meaningful. “Brick arches was an obsession of mine during architecture school. There is something very tactile and nostalgic to brick arches, that give it both timeless function and meaning”, Dabrowski says.
