The project doesn’t have an official name yet, but the vision is clear. Carlo Ratti and BIG released a Sky-High Green Oasis, rising as one of Singapore’s tallest towers, in the financial district. We’re talking about a 280 m tall integrated development (51-story) that merges the “office of the future” — one of Ratti’s hot topics — with residencies, services and retail areas.

The project stands on the site of a former car park complex built in the 1980s. The building’s exterior facade consists of vertical elements that are pulled apart to allow glimpses into the green oases blooming from the base, core and rooftop. In renders, it looks like an explosion of forests that widen the skyscraper’s walls. The overall common areas will be a mix of  steel and glass, interweaved with tropical vegetation.
