Conran and Partners celebrate with Coca-Cola

by Conran and Partners

We are proud to have helped Coca-Cola honour the 100th anniversary of their iconic contour bottle with a unique installation at the High Museum of Art, Atlanta. Our dynamic ribbon design has been 3D printed over 500 times and suspended in a dramatic and engaging entrance display.
Since its creation in 1915, the Coca-Cola contour bottle has become a design symbol of the 20th Century and has had an outstanding impact on visual art and culture. To celebrate 100 years since its inception, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta is exploring the bottle’s iconic design and creative legacy.
“The Coca-Cola Bottle: An American Icon at 100” exhibition features more than 100 objects, including works of art by Andy Warhol, inspired photographs, original design illustrations and historical artefacts. The official launch party took place on Thursday evening.
Conran and Partners have enjoyed working closely with Coca-Cola and the 3D printers, Shapeways, to develop an enchanting display for the entrance of a truly historic exhibition.
“We referenced the Coca-Cola ribbon to celebrate the shape of an object that has become a design classic.” Massimo Acanfora, Creative Director, Conran and Partners
