Archiatric: a series of disorderly houses
Federico Babina is back with Archiatric, an illustrated reflection on the relationship between creativeness and psychopathology. “I believe that the psychic uneasiness even if not in a pathological form it is present in various forms and in small quantities in each of us, it belongs to our lives and we must not stigmatize it”. The metaphor between buildings and illnesses also reminds us of the enormous influence that architecture and the spaces we live in have on our behavior and psyche: “Who plans spaces, plans attitudes, behaviors and emotional, multisensorial experiences”, he explains. In his drawings Babina explores dementia, autism, depression, insomnia, phobias, paranoia and many more.
